In the event that you, like me, missed the much talked about Jon Stewart – Stephen Colbert Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Fear, I thought I’d do some reading up on the event and offer up some thoughts in reaction.
What I discovered, surprisingly, is that the absolutely best thing about the rally were the signs that attendees were seen carrying.
In some ways, it shouldn’t be surprising. We live in a sound bite world, after all. And yet, while sound bites usually have a negative connotation, in my mind at least, perhaps it’s fitting that the following bite-size tidbits, written by fans of two astute political comedians, should stand out as they did.
