My current favorite song:
One of the things I love so much about it is that, as wondeful as it sounds with a full band and two sweetly distorted electric guitars, it translates beautifully as an acoustic song. I’m working on a version of the latter and having a lot of fun with it.
Ok, so, NASA discovered water on the moon.
I’m sure that there are significant scientific reasons why this is exciting news, but for some reason it leaves me cold and apathetic.
(Question: How long before there’s a dispute as to who owns this newly discovered natural resource?)
I don’t really have a choice as to whether or not I will see this movie. I am bound to see it by my loyalty to all that is Rock & Roll, and I can’t frickin’ wait!
It always bugs me when federal holidays are not holidays for all.
Because I’m a state employee, I had the day off, I received no mail because the postal service had the day off, I could park for free downtown because the meter police had the day off, but all the stores were open because a lot of people did not have the day off.
It’s so ingrained in our culture that there are often big sales on holidays.
God forbid we should be on holiday and not be able to shop. That would be downright un-American!
Pursuant to my rain post yesterday, many Bellinghamsters don’t suffer from seasonal affective disorder because they know that when it rains here in town it often means fresh snow at Mt. Baker.
