As mentioned in my last post, here’s the first Work in Progress entry, a peep at what’s coming down the pipe.

I’ve got drafts for two pieces going.

First, I’m working on a review of sorts of the new album by The Swell Season, otherwise known as that guy and gal from the film Once. I say of sorts because, interestingly enough, I was moved to write something about the album, not because of the music, but because of a poem printed in the liner notes.

Secondly, I’ve got a reaction to an article in Salon that taught me something about Native American rights activism and, surprisingly, Johnny Cash, that I never knew.
